1984. Zouo, a hardcore punk band that disbanded to much regret. Even listening today, the heavy, murky beat and the bold, menacing vocals of vo. Cherry still radiate a sense of originality. Cherry sported a 30cm-tall mohawk and was known as the "King of Mohawks"; his appearance, unlike anything else in Japan at the time, always carried a fierce, dangerous image. Cherry's contribution in popularizing the then-new concept of hardcore punk fashion in Japan is now recreated in soft vinyl!
