Under the supervision of mechanical designer Kanetake Ebikawa, focus was placed on the GN Drive solar reactor, its most defining feature. The mechanism by which "GN Particles" are transmitted throughout the body from the "GN Drive" power source was thoroughly examined.
The resulting design arrangement and internal frame structure have been brought to life, and even the light-up effect representing the accumulation and compression of "GN Particles" is recreated with a new approach, using a newly designed LED unit, newly adopted light-guiding material, and other gimmicks.

A soft silicone material, which clears previous articulation constraints while enabling LED light effects, is newly adopted, along with a highly light-guiding resin to diffuse the light throughout.
