■A newly designed internal frame imagined around a semi-monocoque structure, letting you re-experience the construction of a mobile suit.
■The joint structure, marking a return to the original design, adopts a new structure where reinterpreted articulation axes ensure "the part that looks like a joint actually bends."
■The legs reconsider the "melee-focused MS Gundam," adopting composite-frame joints so that the outline remains close to human even when articulated.
■Detail sculpting extends even to parts not normally visible from outside, such as joints and the backs of parts. Prominent mounting holes have been eliminated, resulting in a seamless design integrated with the overall look.
■The head, with its complex coloring, is thoroughly reproduced through color separation in molded color. Details have been added down to fine points such as the twin eyes, main camera, magazine drum, and cheek ducts.
■Panel lines reflecting mechanical grounding are divided by functional block, designed with the actual division lines in mind.
■The exterior design, blending the latest interpretation with a return to the origin, not only adds fine detail but also gives attention to the underlying shapes such as part edges and curved surfaces. The body's white is composed of a 2-tone molded color, fully bringing out the three-dimensional information (i.e., shading).
■The Core Fighter can transform into the Core Block. In addition to reproducing the proportions of its aircraft form, a newly developed auxiliary joint gimmick is built into the compact Core Block, also contributing to achieving the Gundam's free posing.
■As an RG-original gimmick, a mechanism is adopted where the chest armor covering the cockpit opens and closes vertically.
