"Crusher Joe: Cruise Chaser Blassty," originally released as a PC game in the 1980s and later serialized in Hobby Japan magazine. Its serialized story, woven from a novel, full-scratch-built model special effects photography, and richly detailed illustrations bursting with sci-fi atmosphere, still shines with undimmed appeal today. PLAMAX brings the main mecha Blassty to life in 3D form, based on the setting commonly known as the "novel version" from its Hobby Japan serialization.
Each joint articulates, and the transformation from Cruise Form to Special Form is achieved with some part swapping. The arms, for example, use a one-piece part for Cruise Form and articulated parts for Special Form, incorporating design choices throughout aimed at achieving both static display and dynamic action poses. The display stand comes with 2 types of arms whose height can be adjusted to match each form. Water-slide decals are included for the markings on each part.
