The 5th installment in the HG "Macross" plastic model series! From "Macross 7," celebrating its 30th anniversary in 2024, Basara Nekki's beloved unit, the "VF-19 Kai," has been made into a product together with its large-scale reinforcement weapon, the "Sound Booster"!

- Adopts "Interchangeable 3-Stage Transformation (Shortcut Change)," which simplifies the transformation sequence by using interchangeable parts in some areas. This achieves the ease of assembly and wide range of articulation unique to the HG series, along with refined forms in each mode.
- Incorporating interchangeable parts into part of the transformation mechanism achieves a simplified transformation sequence. Easily transforms into Battroid, Gerwalk, and Fighter.
- Adopting "Interchangeable 3-Stage Transformation (Shortcut Change)" allows the form of each mode to pursue the image of the official design artwork.
- By eliminating complex structures and placing optimal articulation points with posing in mind, a new dimension of articulation performance is achieved.
- Part swaps allow the deployed state of the shoulder speakers to be recreated.
- Extend/retract articulation gimmicks throughout adopt "Visual Impression Recreation (Style Change)," recreating a style just like in the show.
- Includes the large-scale reinforcement weapon "Sound Booster," which can transform into a combined form with the Fire Valkyrie. As a plastic-model-original gimmick, it can also be attached in Fighter form.
- Swapping face parts allows the mask's open/closed state to be recreated.
- The canopy, using polarized molding, can be opened and closed.
- Includes a namer sticker that is extremely thin yet offers excellent opacity.
- The inside of the Sound Booster and the shoulders use a three-dimensional plastic sticker with a metallic layer sandwiched inside.
