The milestone 100th figure in the S.H.Figuarts (Shin Kotsubori Production Method) Kamen Rider series! "Kamen Rider No. 1 (Kamen Rider THE NEXT)," released in 2008 as part of the first S.H.Figuarts brand lineup, is reborn with the Shin Kotsubori production method! Clear parts are used for the "C-eyes," the compound eyes of the mask. In addition to the slim proportions, wrinkles throughout the entire body are meticulously sculpted, faithfully pursuing the texture of the special reinforced suit. The scars on the mask, born from battles with the secret society "Shocker," are thoroughly recreated using digital printing. The mask, chest "Converter Lung," gloves, boots, and other parts each faithfully differentiate their distinct shades of green. A newly structured joint that lets the shoulders wrap around toward the torso allows "Kamen Rider No. 1"'s signature poses to be struck naturally. Soft parts are used around the collar, midsection, and belt. Designed with motorcycle riding in mind, the midsection tucks under the belt to ensure a wide range of motion, achieving memorable battle scene recreations and a wide range of action. The muffler uses a wire-in fabric part, allowing it to be expressively posed for intense action moments or fluttering in the wind, among many other scenes. An interchangeable head recreating the mask-off state is also included. Scanned from Masaya Kikawada, who played "Takeshi Hongo" in "Kamen Rider THE NEXT," the head is sculpted from the facial bone structure, and combined with reference material from the time, recreates "Takeshi Hongo" as he appeared in the film's theatrical release (2007).
