Hot Wheels Basic Car '73 Honda Civic Custom Vehicle Toy Minicar for ages 3 and up Green HXR19
[Contents] The Honda Civic is now in its 11th generation, with the first generation having been released in 1972. While current Civics have larger bodies, the first generation was a compact car that was meant to be a step up from a minicar, with a total length of about 3.5m and a total width of about 1.5m.
What made the first-generation Civic world famous was that it was the first car in the world to comply with the Muskie Act, America's strictest emissions legislation at the time, using a technology called CVCC (Compound Vortex Controlled Combustion), thereby achieving both environmental friendliness and a nimble ride.
Hot Wheels has chosen a custom version based on the original, with the front bumper removed and replaced with a chin spoiler and fog lights, as well as over fenders to accommodate wider tires.
This release features traditional racing car style graphics.
