This is the landmark work with which Yuji Sakai, now Japan's leading Godzilla sculptor, made his debut as a Godzilla sculptor, winning Kaiyodo's "Art Plastic Grand Prix" sculpting competition in 1989. Very few people are likely to own this rare item today. A soft vinyl assembly kit produced and manufactured at "Kaiyodo Space Factory Nankoku" in Nankoku City, Kochi Prefecture. From Kaiyodo's classic masterpieces to its latest works, a wide variety of all-Japan-made figures are produced there every day.
