Hold the ultimate "Millennium Falcon" in your hands. PERFECT GRADE 1/72 Millennium Falcon, takes flight. With the full cooperation of filming-model researchers Mr. Sumi and Mr. Takahashi! The "Millennium Falcon," which appeared in the landmark first film "Star Wars: A New Hope" released in 1977, now arrives in Bandai's top-tier plastic model brand "PERFECT GRADE" series, bringing its ultimate form to life. With "complete reproduction" as the theme, the "1.7m filming model" was thoroughly researched, and not only the exterior sculpt but even the interior of the cockpit and laser cannons are faithfully recreated without compromise. Obsession with Accurately Recreating the Millennium Falcon from the Movie. Through two rounds of on-site research and the full cooperation of filming-model researchers Mr. Sumi and Mr. Takahashi, the "1.7m filming model" was thoroughly studied. At a large 1/72 scale with an overall length of 482mm, all the information contained in the filming model is faithfully reproduced. Reproducing the Finest Details. Not only the exterior, but the interior detail structure as well has been thoroughly built out. The shapes of the cockpit seat, console panels, and even the wall-mounted instruments are recreated. Assembling it deepens your structural understanding of what it would be like to pilot the "Millennium Falcon." Laser Cannon: The gunner's seat and the laser cannon's trigger, among other things, are built into the interior. On top of that, the precisely recreated quad laser cannon sits over it. You can even get a sense of the distance between the gunner and the laser cannon during combat. Nose/Hole Wall: Not only the structures inside the hole, but even the various structures on the sides of the cylindrical hole are reproduced without exception. Side Details: The densely packed side details are also expressed three-dimensionally through effective part division. The pipes running every which way are realized in a shape closer to the filming model by using them alongside separate parts. Central Detail: Even the extremely intricate central section has its accurate shape captured through research on the "1.7m filming model." The complex structure is faithfully recreated. Rear of the Craft/Around the Ducts: The distinctively dense details on the top surface of the Millennium Falcon are worked out in detail. The mesh portion of the ducts can be chosen between plastic parts and etched parts, pursuing even finer reproduction. LED Light-Up Feature: Lighting effects that complement the film's impression. Illuminated by light, its form gives the illusion that it is about to take flight at any moment. Sublight Engines: For the "PG 1/72 Millennium Falcon," white LEDs were deliberately chosen out of respect for the first film. The distinctive band-shaped engine section uses light-guiding parts to recreate the glow seen in the film. Landing Gear/Boarding Ramp: The distinctive three legs, illuminated by LEDs, support the craft with the same power as seen in the film. This section lighting up also allows a parked state to be recreated. The boarding ramp has finely engraved molding all the way inside, creating an atmosphere as if Han Solo could step out of it at any moment. Cockpit: Just like in the film, the distinctive rear panel lights up, evoking the film's scenes.
