[Contents] In 1994, the A4 debuted as the successor to the highly successful 80 series. Based on the A4, with a higher-output engine and reinforced suspension, this Hot Wheels model is based on the 2nd-generation S4, introduced in 1997.
It was equipped with a V6 DOHC 2.7-liter twin-turbo engine producing 265 horsepower, combined with a 6-speed manual transmission and full-time 4WD—a mechanism to rival sports cars—achieving a top speed of over 250km/h.
The R8 debuted in 2006 as Audi's first mass-produced mid-engine supercar. Using the company's signature quattro (4-wheel-drive) system, it earned high praise as a supercar suited to any driver or road condition.
The 2nd generation debuted in 2016.
